Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution

The Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution(Evo), was a sports sedan based on the Mitsubishi Lancer. The Evolution was produced by Mitsubishi Motors in Japan, Okazaki, Aichi from 1992 until 2016.

Every Lancer Evolution produced came equipped with a 2.0L 4G63 incline-four engine turbocharged , which is debatable, one of the best tunable engines to have existed, competing with engines such as the 2JZ-Gte, the RB26 and the EJ20.

The Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution VIII had a 4-wheel drive system fitted with a 6-speed transmission producing a speed up to 276 horsepower. However sources say that Mitsubishi had already produced cars with more power and that they had been under rating the Evolution VIII official power due to an agreement with an unknown party.

The Evolution VIII was the first Evolution to be sold in the United States of America due to the success of the Subaru Wrx Sti, which was Mitsubishi's largest competitor at rally at the time.

Later the Evolution X was released in 2007. The Evolution X was the 10th generation Evolution to be developed. Production of all Evolutions stopped in May 2016 with a hope of an Evolution XI to be developed.

It is equipped with a turbo and has four flat cylinders which helps the car reach it's top speed. The 4-wheel drive system ensures that the driver has full control over the car at all time. It is no wonder the car has won over 47 World rally champion races against other rally champions such as the Mitsubishi Evolution and the Audi Quattro.

The Subaru Wrx Sti was manufactured in Fuji Heavy industries, a Japanese firm founded in 1915. The Subaru Wrx Sti was initially released in 1992 and is currently in its fifth generation with the 6th generation to come in 2020.

It is unfortunate that Subaru no more does Rally yet they kept the car alive. Overall the Subaru Wrx Sti was a wonderful rally car that could grip in the dirt track excellently.

The Toyota Supra Mk4 is the 4th generation Supra, built to be an everyday streetcar yet it is used as a street outlaw.
